Super Easy Kale Chips

I know, I know. The picture just looks like plain kale. But I promise, the kale is super crispy and tasty.

These are so so delicious, SUPER easy to make, and, in my opinion, just as satisfying as potato chips. This recipe comes from Autostraddle’s Get Baked With Autostraddle: Kale Edition. I love love the Get Baked features they do. They always have super yummy recipes and a lot of the time they are vegetarian and/or vegan friendly. So definitely check out Autostraddle. (Also go there if you are a girl who likes girls; that’s the main reason to go there.)

Ingredients

  • Bunch of kale
  • Olive oil
  • Pinch of salt and/or pepper and/or other seasonings

Recipe

  1. Pre-heat oven to 300F.
  2. Wash kale. Break off from stems and rip into small potato-chip sized pieces.
  3. Toss kale with approximately 1 tablespoon of olive oil (This depends on how many chips you want to make. Use your own judgement)
  4. Spread kale on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper in a single layer.
  5. Sprinkle lightly with seasonings. I used salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until crispy. 
  7. Remove from oven and serve! SO GOOD.
